Messages & Poems From The New Dawn

Barbara Arestegui

Dear heart through waves of undying

passion.

Children so dear, alone with moments

of thee.

Long prayers ever searching, their

moment.

I send my smile a cross the waves,

to a place of narrow streets.

Gray church of our father, graves

so still!.

Dear heart surf through my moments,

for yesterday was not a dream.

Barbara Edwards

You know of my childhood dream, so

cool I have come to know.

This place I have come, were roses

pair for life.

The love we shared is just on hold,

so cool my love for thee.

I wonder through my childhood, to

know the love we shared.

I have come across a flower that was

picked in summer.

So cool was that day, that my heart

was paired with yours.

Benny Berenson

The nightingale sings way into the

night.

From the moonlight cedar, a voice is

heard from a magic flower.

What pain! You have seen, through

wondering souls.

Your heart is like the sea-side air,

that comes to rest on shore.

You have seen the darkness, that

makes mountain flowers bloom.

You have seen the nightingale sing,

of a flower that knows your heart.

True magic that wonders, through

pain of wanted love.
